Who We Are
Our Garden Operas allow you the thrill and spectacle of hearing opera in the comfort of your own garden. Our operation for this format is simple and uncomplicated. We will provide an operatic performance by a classically trained singer for small groups with a full orchestral arrangement, weather proof stage and a backdrop of La Scala! Our productions are sung by some of the finest singers and are led by highly regarded soprano Tarsha Cole LRAM ARCM who has performed in prestigious productions at such venues as the English National Opera, the Queen Elizabeth Hall, the Royal Albert Hall, the Paris Chatelet, Glastonbury and Windsor Castle. Tarsha also had the honour of singing the lead at the opening of the New National Opera House in Ho Chi Minh City.
Many of our singers have performed for the major British opera companies including the ENO, WNO, Opera North and Glyndebourne.
What We Do
For a small Garden Opera, we would suggest a 20ft x 20ft Marquee with 32 seated guests. The package would include tables, chairs, flooring and uplighters. Therefore, your event would have ultimate flexibility to enjoy a Garden Opera and then, if so required, to transform the existing marquee into a lunch or dinner venue.
We will provide an operatic performance by a classically trained singer with a full orchestral arrangement, stage and even a backdrop of La Scala if required! We use Capri marquees which are unique and spacious; the design eliminates ropes and guy lines maximising your space and offers great flexibility. These marquees can be decorated with ivy garland to go over the arches of the marquee and the pea lights look wonderful wrapped around the poles. They look wonderfully elegant open sided simply allowing guests to breeze in and out, but all marquees do come with a choice of detachable clear or plain white side walls, they are simple to fit and can close off the marquee keeping the chill off.
